ZCoin does not have a whitepaper as their protocol has been adapted from the ZeroCoin Protocol.
ZCoin is a rebranding of an earlier Moneta project, which was created from a fork of Litecoin.
ZCoin believes that by using well-known RSA technology they can provide more security than the newer zK-SNARKs cryptography used in other privacy tokens and thereby creating a simpler setup process to effectively generate initial network keys from different geographic locations.
ZCoin only provides a high-level roadmap that is scant on detail:
– Ethereum port and interledger connectivity
– Encrypted communication between node peers
– Sigma protocol
– Decentralised and anonymised voting systems
– Zcoin Labs
– Implementation of blockchain scalability solution

Trade Crypto Live Sentiment
Privacy coins have seen a lot of attention in 2018 and Zcoin is no exception but they appear to have fallen behind. Additionally, over the long term, the fundamentals leave Zcoin’s future questionable. They continue to work on the project and appear to be dedicated to resolving the identified issues encountered so far.
